BODY PUZZLES, an excerpt by Chrissy Martin in collaboration with Amanda Marasit and Catherine Miller, is a trio in progress. The dancers tumble, fall, spiral, and lift each other in a series of cyclical patterns, accompanied by a live and recorded vocal sound score. BODY PUZZLES is about group process and the relationships dancers build together during rehearsal. This is part of a larger work by Chrissy, Sound Moves, which explores the relationship between movement and sound, voice and body.

All Co-MISSIONs are supported by Links Hall’s Commissioning Collective, a small group of dedicated individuals committed to supporting the creation of excellent, inspiring new works of performing arts in Chicago.
